Men's Peer Support Networks

Building safe spaces for African men to discuss mental health advocacy and navigate life's challenges together.
Isolation makes every problem heavier. A peer support network is a small, consistent group of people who have agreed to show up for each other honestly.
What a good circle looks like
- Small enough that everyone speaks — six to ten people.
- Confidential by agreement. What is said in the room stays there.
- Facilitated, so one person does not dominate and quiet members are not forgotten.
- Regular. Monthly at minimum, so trust has time to build.
It is not therapy — and that is fine
A circle is for being heard and staying accountable. When something bigger surfaces, a good circle helps its members find professional care rather than trying to be it.
